What On My Registry?

Hi Mamas or expecting Mamas (or maybe you’re just curious, then Hi to you too :) . I wanted to share some items that I have on my registry as a second time mom and want to keep things as minimal as possible! Just as a reference, I do have a toddler boy so gratefully I have most of his things saved (so I really don’t need much). But hopefully this helps others who will soon have 2 under 2, etc. !

Mama Tip: Add a Meal & Diaper Fund to your registry! Also doesn’t help to add a babysitting coupon if you have another little.

Baby Gear:

When I thought of strollers, I knew I wanted a double stroller especially since my toddler still likes to stay in the stroller if he gets tired or honestly so I don’t have my hands full when I’m out. For my outside activities, I really wanted a wagon because it’s more convenient and I won’t ruin the stroller in the dirt or sand. Speaking of sand, we go to the beach A LOT so when I saw this double seat - I was like ummm yes this is perfect for the boys. I really wanted baby gear that worked for our needs and lifestyle.

Nursing:

I learned a lot with my first breastfeeding journey with my first born, so I knew exactly what I needed this time around! My favorite “T-shirt” nursing bra is this one from Target, last time I just had one so I knew I def. needed more because it was just so comfortable especially with nursing in public. Nipple butter is always a must, but I wanted to try this organic one because I’ve seen so many good reviews on it - so we’ll see! And the last nursing item I wanted is a hands free pump! These pumps are def. a splurge, but I did a lot of research and decided to try the more affordable one! I’m so excited to see if this will help me build a stash since I hated pumping during my first breastfeeding journey. I do have my must haves when it comes to nursing though! If you want to know more about that, please leave a comment down below :)

Baby Tech:

A dual camera that doesn’t connect to wifi was a HUGE must for me! After all of my research, I finally found one with a split screen since I don’t plan on having them in the same room until a year later or so. Another tech item is the hatch mini. We currently have the regular hatch in my son’s room and we love it! But I thought the mini would be helpful for when the baby naps in our room.

Health:

Always loved Fridababy’s products so wanted to restock for baby #2! Also wanted to try the humidifier because it’s the perfect size and not bulky. We currently have one and it’s just way too big for my son’s room and a hassle to set it up.

Nursery Corner/Cart:

This nursery cart set up is a new thing for me, but really loved this idea because honestly the baby will be in our room the majority of the time. From all of his diaper items, health and even items for myself - they will be stored in this cart next to my bed. I’m all about convenience this time around versus aesthetic. I linked the burp cloths that are my favorite! As well as neutral onesies that I’ll store in this cart incase for back up changes.

Misc:

  • A few more things that I wanted from learning from my first time around. One of the bigger items is a rocking chair because with my first son, last minute I had to borrow one and I used it so much for the first few months. This rocking chair though goes perfect for our living room, so not only will we use for postpartum but also it’ll be apart of our living room furniture. Speaking of the living room, I wanted a cute diaper basket and it fits perfectly with our home decor AND it’s functional!

  • I linked some onesies that are a must and honestly what my son was wearing most of the time.

  • Some on the go items are the changing pad that comes with a wristlet and a small cooler for bottles as well as snacks for my toddler.

I hope this post was able to help any of you parents! I learned a lot my first time around, and really wanted to just implement items that will help make my life easier, especially now that I’ll be a mom of two! I tried saving as much as I could from my first son - which helped me save money on clothes and other items! I’m sure i’ll continue to learn as my motherhood journey continues and will keep you updated on my socials.

Thank you for stopping by and if you’re at the end of this post, I appreciate your time!

Until next post, Xo
